BiQ Analyzer - a software tool for DNA methylation analysis

This program has been developed in a cooperation between the Max-Planck-Institute for Informatics and Saarland University, both situated in Saarbrücken, Germany.

BiQ Analyzer should be cited as follows:

Bock, C., S. Reither, T. Mikeska, M. Paulsen, J. Walter and T. Lengauer (2005). "BiQ Analyzer: visualization and quality control for DNA methylation data from bisulfite sequencing." Bioinformatics 21(21): 4067-8.

Please cite BiQ Analyzer when you used the program for quality control and diagram generation, in order to point out that certain quality control steps were performed in a standardized manner.

We encourage that you make your raw DNA methylation results available to the public, usually on publication of the paper. To facilitate this, BiQ Analyzer generates output that is compatible with MethDB. This feature has been implemented with the help of Christoph Grunau.

If you have any questions, suggestions, criticism, etc., please feel free to contact Christoph Bock.
